BCA Supporting Clients thought COVID-19

BCA Supporting clients through COVID-19
Today, and for the foreseeable future, British businesses are facing their greatest ever challenge. There is no doubt that we are in unprecedented times and as business owners and managers there is the added pressures of dealing with the realities of keeping our respective businesses going, looking after the wellbeing of staff and the prospect of having to make some very difficult decisions.
The Prime Minister has been resolute in stating that the Government will do whatever it takes to support business and to protect the workforce, which is undeniably good news but there are a number of practicalities on which you may well need help from BCA.
Communication and timeliness has never been more important, particularly if there is a need to engage with HMRC for a time to pay agreement or in producing a valid business case to support an application for a Government backed loan. To ensure we can continue to support you, we are keeping staff in the office as far as we can, while working with the health recommendations. We are investing to enable more staff to work from home, however it is likely that our business, like yours, may incur some interruptions from time to time but our focus is on maintaining our ongoing support to you....

What a fabulous event the Heropreneurs Awards proved to be, validating beyond any doubt BCA’s decision to be a sponsor and also to host London centric friends and clients.
A fabulous venue, its atmosphere truly electric, packed with people sharing two common bonds, military service and entrepreneurship, brought together by Heropreneurs to celebrate their skills, achievements and above all the positive contribution that services leavers continue to give society after they have left the military. All presided over by Her Royal Highness the Countess of Wessex.
Sincere congratulation to all finalists and of course the exceptional and deserving winners.
Our Senior Partner, Simon Banks-Cooper said, "from a personal perspective, the desire I have to share my business experiences for the benefit of the wider Defence community is no secret, be that wishing to see a transition community established and thriving in the East Riding or advocating on behalf of Army Cadets to ensure that employers are aware of the pool of employment ready young talent that exists, so to grasp an opportunity to work with Heropreneurs was never going to be a difficult decision. BCA was my first business venture after Regular Army service. Today, a successful practice but one that I started from scratch with all the trials and tribulations that experience brings, so it is somewhat evocative, as well as extremely gratifying that it too is able to support Heropreneurs and its invaluable work."

BCA sponsor the 2019 Heropreneurs Awards
01-09-2019
BCA are extremely pleased to be sponsoring the Heropreneurs Awards (in association with The Telegraph) for 2019.
Our Senior Partner Simon Banks-Cooper explains why he is pleased that BCA is associated with Heropreneurs and its business awards dinner.
Like many before me, and indeed since, I once had to contemplate an inevitable change of career. Without any frame of reference or particular aspiration a daunting prospect for most, but from the viewpoint of an operational deployment a perplexing and at times surreal experience. How I went on to sit the professional examinations to become an accountant is a not a story for here, but qualifying led me to go on and create what is now BCA Accountants and Corporate Financiers.
Today I have a number of business interests and do very little accounting, but it gives me a tremendous amount of satisfaction that all these years later my first entrepreneurial endeavour has chosen to become a sponsor of the 2019 Heropreneurs Awards, and in doing so support this fabulous charity in its work giving entrepreneurial service leavers access to a wealth of business support through its mentor program, which it does on an entirely philanthropic basis. I look forward to awards night and to chatting with those short listed.
